Here’s your chance to learn how to make your own silver metal clay jewellery in our fabulous new full day workshop. Hosted by Anna Davenport, owner of Silver Nutshell Jewellery @silvernutshell and Muddy Stilettos Award Winner for Best Jeweller in Glos and Worcs 2022, Anna is a brilliant teacher and an expert on silver metal clay jewellery. You’ll learn all the skills you need and take home at least two beautiful pieces of nature inspired jewellery, such as a bumble bee pendant or perhaps a dragon fly, tree of life, leaf or daisy. You’ll also have the opportunity to use delicate mandala moulds and cutters to create intricate designs, as well as learning how to create your own moulds from leaves, herbs and seashells. Bottomless teas, coffees and cakes will keep coming throughout the session & we'll stop for a relaxed tasty homecooked lunch. One refuelled you'll be raring to get back to finish your pieces. In this full days workshop you will discover how to… 🍃 make nature moulds 🍃 use silver metal clay 🍃 shaping and cutting 🍃 dry your metal clay 🍃 file and finish a piece 🍃 safe torch firing 🍃 polish your finished piece 🍃 use a jump ring to make a pendant PLUS you’ll have a chance to ask lots of questions and you’ll leave with at least two pieces of solid silver jewellery in a gift box. Absolutely no experience is needed and all you need to bring is a notebook if you’d like to take notes. All other materials and tools will be provided, including 12g silver metal clay, moulding compound and a sterling silver chain. Additional items such as ear wires, sterling silver chains, further moulding compound and packs of silver metal clay will all be available to buy on the day. You’ll also receive a full list of all materials that you’ve used, so you can continue your silver metal clay experience and make beautiful jewellery at home. Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION If you cancel the booking, we reserve the right to impose cancellation charges as follows: Ten (10) days or more before the date of the Workshop, Larkswold will work with you to move the booking to an alternative date or workshop (subject to any additional charges that may apply resulting from the alternative date or workshop chosen). Suppose an alternative date or workshop cannot be agreed upon at the time of cancellation. In that case, Larkswold will issue you with a credit to the value of the Workshop (“Workshop Credit”), which you can use towards the cost of an alternative workshop of your choice (subject to availability) and which shall be valid for up to 12 months from the date of issue. If you fail to rebook an alternative workshop within this period, all rights are forfeited; To cancel, you just need to let us know.
