Service Description
Join Marilyn Gough, a talented resin artist, and learn the basics of using resin to create a fantastic seascape center piece (or wall art) and a coaster set. You will paint a 40cm diameter wooden board. Before you start, we will cover how to gather your materials and protect yourself and your workspace. You will learn how to measure and mix your resin and add colour. Create a stunning seascape by blending and mixing marine colours. Discover how to manipulate the resin with tools to achieve different visual effects. Use resin-specific pigments and pastes to master the beautiful lacing wave technique. Experiment with mica powders, inks and eco-friendly glitter. All materials required for your seascape will be provided, including: - Mixing and heat tools - Protective apron, goggles, and latex gloves for you to wear and keep - A round wooden board plus 4 coasters Join us for a fun and creative experience! Enjoy learning a new skill and create a stunning centre piece for your table with coasters or maybe hang it on your wall as an artwork. Dates Sunday 6th April 1.30pm-5.30pm: only 6 places per session As with all Larkswold workshops, Melinda & Emma will look after you with a selection of homemade cakes and plenty of teas, coffees, and cold drinks throughout the session.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION If you cancel the booking, we reserve the right to impose cancellation charges as follows: Ten (10) days or more before the date of the Workshop, Larkswold will work with you to move the booking to an alternative date or workshop (subject to any additional charges that may apply resulting from the alternative date or workshop chosen). Suppose an alternative date or workshop cannot be agreed upon at the time of cancellation. In that case, Larkswold will issue you with a credit to the value of the Workshop (“Workshop Credit”), which you can use towards the cost of an alternative workshop of your choice (subject to availability) and which shall be valid for up to 12 months from the date of issue. If you fail to rebook an alternative workshop within this period, all rights are forfeited; To cancel, you just need to let us know.
