I hope you’ve had a good week. Mine has been ok - the low points were following my dog around in the vets carpark trying to catch a wee sample - followed by then working out how to get the now full kidney dish of wee safely through the waiting room to the vets consulting room without sharing the contents as Kanga (the dog) acted like her usual squirrel on meth! Still - she hasn't opened the freezer, pulled out the drawers and scoffed copious amounts of frozen curry, chilli and blueberries like another friend’s dog that shall stay nameless.
We’ve got two spaces available on our Silversmithing Rings & Bangles workshop this Sunday 23rd Feb 10-1pm due to poorly guests not able to make it. Snap them up quick with a cute 10% discount (read on for the discount code) You could craft a piece of silver jewellery so beautiful your friends will wonder if you’ve had a long-standing affair with a jeweller. Or possibly that you should keep the day job and never gift them anything hand made by yourself again.
Aside from the chance to work with fire, metal and sharp tools you’ll learn everything you need to make your own bespoke rings or bangle. No previous experience is required. Just channel your inner silversmithing artist vibes.
So will you let another Sunday pass you by while your inner artist is suppressed and no delicious Larkswold cake (lemon drizzle, brownies, flapjacks are on the menu) passes your lips? The choice is yours.
Book your spot now before these two coveted places disappear faster than a well-polished ring. Use code silver10% to book your place for this Sunday morning.

If silversmithing isn’t your thing, what about rug tufting? We have our first cushion making workshop in March with the lovely Ellie.
With the aid of a power-assisted tufting machine you push yarn through a woven backing cloth at high speed, producing fluffy tactile textiles. Before the session you can get busy on Pinterest coming up with a design and send details through so Ellie can make sure she has the best yarns and design assistance to help achieve the perfect finish.
If you would prefer to create a piece of artwork to hang on your wall you can have it stretched onto a canvas instead.
Hope to see you soon!
Melinda
